jThat is adorable!! And I can so relate. I finally just gave up on contacts and kept my glasses. I have such a bad astigmatism that the contacts can't quite correct it, even with the ones that are mde for astimatism. **sigh**. When I win the lottery, Lasik is first on my list!! LOL

I went back to glasses too after 25 some years...I just got too lazy to deal with them. I remember the days, tho, early on when I felt just like ole froggy. Ha! And I'm a big chicken about lasik. My husband got it and loves it, but I figure that I'll be the one in a million they mess up on. Likely, I know.

this video was so true -- the first kind of contacts i tried were gas-permeable. i had so much trouble getting them in, and ultimately out, i thought i had the lens lodged up above my eyelid -- making its way toward my brain... i had to ask a friend to help me get the lens out of my eye, which by the way, had already fallen out and was sitting on the edge of my sink.
i hate the maintenance of contacts and with a pretty bad astigamatism, i definitely don't see that well. but i've been hesitant in getting lasik -- like you, i'd be the one unlucky one who'd have a slip of the laser or something.
