Covering New Territory

It looks like Paris might have to suffer a consequence after all. New territory. Charting new paths. This was made clear in the scene at court where she apparently was taken away, screaming, wailing, "It's not right!" and "Mom!" Mom was supposed to save the day. Again. Mom, money, privilege, status---all the things that have saved her before from ever having to suffer a consequence were supposed to take care of this new revolting development. Alas, Paris may have swum out into deeper waters where Mom and Money have no power. We shall see.

It's a little scary to think of a society where more and more there is no personal responsibility or accountability.

I am SO happy that she was put back in jail. The judge was right, her release to home detention WAS making people lose faith in the justice system. She's back where she belongs.

I don't want to watch it, but it's like a car accident. I can't look away! Seems like everyone loves to hate her. Including me.

I hope her attitude is rehabilitated after her stint in the Twin Towers. Wouldn't it be great to see her start a Joan Baez-esque help-the-prisoners group? She could raise money for new sheets for the inmates and better food...

I think left coast sister is on to something.
Her family (Hilton Hotel Corp.) could do a major donation to the Twin Towers. Including new sheets, tasty banquet food and other amenities you would only expect to receive from a high end hotel including mints on everybody’s pillow. Parris would be a hero to all of her fellow inmates and would be given special privileges and become very spoiled in jail. Kind of like what happened to her outside of jail.
Not sure where I’m going with this but there is a moral message here somewhere.

Are we honestly still going on about this Paris Hilton person? Surely she can't be THAT bad. I think she's doing the things she does for blogger publicity. And it's working. Even I know about her now. By the way, who's this guy called Bush I keep hearing about?

as far as Paris: the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
(I s'pose the same can be said of Bush.)
