A Secret Burst Of Spring

I can't remember a day in recent history that has been as perfectly beautiful as this day. A clear, bright blue sky---not a cloud to be seen. Warm, balmy weather----in the 70's all day! After being cooped up for so long, it was utterly wonderful to bask in this perfect day. I think I might recover after all.

I am SO JEALOUS! We just had an earthquake, a WICKED windstorm and many landslides. This week is supposed to be nice, and I woke up to rain. Hmmphf.

see, this is why I live in California. A single digit temperature is unacceptable (I won't even think about the negative temps).

I unfortunately made a comment to some folks on February 1 that the warm weather made it seem as if Spring had already sprung. Not is has spring right back in whatever box it is hiding, so that today we have freezing temperatures and snow.
