It takes a spot of courage to stand up tall and a bit of derring-do to rise when you fall

The Quick Scoop

Nothin' like a cliffhanger....:)

So the quick scoop is that things have fallen into place for us to move north a tiny bit, just past Sacramento. Obviously anything could happen to change that---for instance, our house not selling!! It's not exactly the market for that. Now, two years ago we could've put it on the market and watched 'em fight over it. Not so much now.

This wasn't decided on a whim of course, wasn't an impulse. Lots of thought and care went into deciding if this was the right thing to do. We know lots of folk up that way and the kids would enjoy being around some of their friends, and that seems like a nice way to finish growing up.

SO....we'll see what happens! While I'll miss the lovely place we live now and all our friends and family here, it's exciting to think of a new place.

I'll keep you posted.

(have been having trouble posting...) hmmm, if i remember what your b-i-l told me of where your husband works, i'm thinking i might know where you're headed! best of luck in the selling-market. also remember, major buyer's market in the sacramento-area -- even more so than the bay area.

You go guys. Very exciting. It has got to be good to look at the houses you can afford if your house sells. Living where we do, not known as a cheap area, I realize how expensive the Bay Area is...rent and home prices are still quite a bit lower here.
