Suffering
I know that there are people starving all over the world. Unmentionable atrocities are happening in many places right this instant. Death. Sickness. Sorrow.
But I had to listen all morning to my youngest reading every single page of a Family Circus book. Now let me tell you about suffering.

Ha Ha!!! This happens in our house all the time, too! Only in our house it's Garfield. Suffering meter about the same. hee hee

about the same, yeah, for sure. They're barely funny when you read them yourself---having them read TO you is just too much.

And they actually expect you to listen, look only at them while they are reading and then laugh at all the right places - what we do for our kids - grandkids in my case. ec
