Hey Jacquie!! Of course I remember you!!! I was not sure if you remembered me :) I'm in touch with your son on facebook, which is one of the coolest things I think has been invented. I look at your blog too sometimes! It has been fun to keep up despite the fact we live on opposite sides of the world :) Anyway, we are looking forward to next summer! :) Love you!
Many thoughts ran trough my mind when I watched this. It was a little painful to watch as B G & A pointed out. Plus you have to feel sorry for her because she is still so young and probably extremely nervous but I guess she is old enough to know what she was getting into when she decided to become a beauty queen. So I have to admit even though it was hard to watch it was entertaining too.
I watched this a few time trying to figure out where she was trying to go with this question. It’s almost like she had some preconceived key words in her mind she wanted to say before she heard the question (Words like South Africa, Iraq, future etc)
Who knows she might show us all and become cartographer.
I've clicked on the link, however i bet you're talking about Miss Sth Carolina! Man they are really making fun of her here down under especially on the talk show circuit!

At least she didn't ask, "What's a world map?"

So, uh, I believe that our future is to help world peace and nations like the US in Americans. And that's why we don't have any maps.

I must ignore her, uh, logic. She’s still a teen (I suppose) and God is far from finished with her (I hope).

Poor, poor girl! That was painful to watch.
I'd like to give her a hug because she could really use one after that.

It sounded like she was just saying words until the time limit was up - painful indeed. ec
