Squirrel Mentality
A word of advice to young boy I saw today:
One way to reach adulthood:
When you're walking across the road and see a car approaching, do not STOP in the middle of the crosswalk with that deer-in-the-headlights look. Repeat: Do not stop. KEEP GOING to the other side. First of all, I was going to stop---of course! Secondly, if I wasn't going to stop, probably it would be better for you all the way around if you were to hie on over to the other side of the street rather than be stuck smack dab in the middle of it.
Just a thought, sweetpea.

This isn't about the squirrel, but something else.......
I think you and Lisa ought to tell your 'blog audience' about the language you and she developed in your teen years! Wasn't it called 'Lerse' or something like that??? Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

and it was never about the squirrel anyway---more about boy who thinks like a squirrel :)

The problem with anonymous' suggestion (besides the fact that everyone would lose respect for us) is that Lersa Language is something that has to be EXPERIENCED, not just EXPLAINED. We could always put it on YouTube.

Hahaha...YouTube. Please don't suggest it! And besides that, just to clarify, we weren't teens when we developed it. We were, like, seven. That makes it a little more acceptable. Definitely an experienced kind of thing.

Oh, please, put it on YouTube!!!! Everyone would love it!!

I would hate it.

That was very good advice to the young lad, but will I be able to sleep tonight without experiencing the Lersa Language? ec

you will sleep MUCH better having missed it. Believe me.
