The Adoring Public Needs To Know
So is it just a publicity ploy, a stunt? Is it simply a matter of wanting privacy, and it's no-one's business? Is she not "normal" as overactive imaginations and The Enquirer reckon? What's the deal? Where's the famous and infamous baby of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes....does she exist?? (dramatic music at this point)
Will we ever know? Do we care?

Tom Cruise lives in a parallel universe in which some things exist and yet they don't. Take, for example, his brain. It exists, because he continues to breathe, move and open his ridiculous mouth. And yet it doesn't exist because of the words that proceed forth from it. So I agree with bryan. Yes. No. (But that's just my answer to the "does she exist" question.) I read on another blog that the only thing that can be said to her for the three months of her life is her name, and no baby talk, (per teh scientology gods) so what would anyone say if they *did* see her?! I don't know why the mere mention of this man's name makes me blather on. Hopefully by age 6 she'll be allowed to hear and say more than her name.

I don't give two hoots! Womens magazines here have "Suri is disfigured, Tom and Katie saddened" on the front cover. Not read the articles so not too sure if its true or not, i just think Cruise is being his usual beligerant self.

well, I can surely see if a celebrity couple wanted to shield their child from the probing nosy public for sure. It's not everyone's "right" to see their baby. But it just seems odd is all. Quite strange. Especially for a guy who had no qualms about jumping up and down on a couch on national television. Anyway, bottom line: who cares. Right?

AMEN Left Coast Sista! Everything you said.
The 'disfigured' comments from some of the media have my blood boiling. I'll stop there, no one needs to see my soap box HERE. Tom Cruise makes my left eyelid twitch. I mean it, I hear or read his name and there *weenk* it goes *weenk*......

left coast: wait a minute, did you say they only get to say their daughter's name to her for the first three months and nothing else? Tell me that isn't true.

That's for real... "suri suri suri" is all that can be uttered... BUT! I must say I read that on another blog, so who knows how true it is. I mean, certainly OUR blogs are nothing but accurate, but I don't know about others! (;

and far be it for us to actually go to a source that would have actual facts about such matters. Puh.
speculation and righteous indignation is so much more satisfying. :)
