I Resolve To Eat Ten Thousand Donuts
because I think it's good to have an attainable resolution each year.
Anyway, on a possibly more serious note, everyone should list one tangible resolution (say, like, to lose 25 pounds).
and one intangible resolution (to wear a shield of kindness so that every interaction is countered with and interlaced thus).
More than one resolution in each category might be overwhelming. And better to accomplish one goal (or two) than to fail at twenty.

Should 10,000 donuts and the suggestion of losing 25 pounds be in the same post? :) How about 500 donuts and lose 10 pounds. Half of that last sentence was serious, I'll not say which. The intangible would be to think much before speaking - my witty sayings have been mistaken for smart aleck remarks. Have a peaceful New Year. ec

I too wondered at the combination of 10,000 donuts and a 25-pound loss. But the one would demand the other, I suppose?
Have a great new year!

Damn! I could easily keep a resolution to eat 10,000—even 20,000—doughnuts!
I agree with mreddie: Should 10,000 donuts and the suggestion of losing 25 pounds be in the same post?
This year I have decided not to make resolutions, but rather a revolution, which seems to be more in accord with my temperament.

No resolutions for me this year. I typically pick one, and make a rule that it cannot involve weight. This year, my head wasn't in it. I'll let you know how freeing no resolutions are at the end of this year. :-)

I resolve to drink more diet Coke. Or at least as much as I drank this year. I think I can do it. I sure hope so. People might try to peer pressure me out of it but I am just going to try to stay the course. Also rehab is for quitters.

Today I broke my previous record for consecutive days alive. AFAIC, that's enough accomplishment for one day.
Also my word verification was nmhlovr -- now if I just find out who NMH is...

I agree with sometimes saintly nick, but I say have a donut revolution and resolve to free the donuts from those awful wire cages they have to sit in, on display for the voyeuristic public to see.

Free The Donuts!!
Free The Diet Coke!!
Somehow those two in the same sentence seem odd, too.
