It takes a spot of courage to stand up tall and a bit of derring-do to rise when you fall

Put A (Red Velour With White Fur) Sock In It

Everywhere I go, I hear this:

"I'm already done with all of my Christmas shopping!" OR "I've already got everything wrapped and under the tree!" OR "I only have one more present to get for Great-Aunt Evelyn and I'm completely done" OR "Christmas shopping?? Oh! (tinkling laugh) I was done in July!"

Do you get a special medal the earlier you get done? Do you get bonus points if you're finished before a certain date? Are you telling me that I should be concerned because I haven't bought even one present yet?

You not alone. I have had to scramble to get things done this week because we are having an early celebration for my son tomorrow. Man, It kind of snuck up on me and in 5 days he will be in California. Wow...So its kinda of sad to say that I am not done with my shopping. In the end he will love it because his Christmas will be spread out...but man do I feel guilty.

pssst...it is getting close though. Midnight shopping is the best. good luck

yeah, I'm thinking that the closer to midnight I shop the better. Clearly, I also think that the closer to Christmas I shop, the better. We shall see.

The shops are horrible at this time of year ... the open 24 hours sessions we have here on the night before Christmas Eve are the best. Although, it's amazing how many people are out there at, say, 3 in the morning !!! Good luck.

i'm with you on this one. i *have* picked up some gifts for people but not for my family (except for the niece/nephew because at least they're kind of fun to buy for). oh, then there's my boss and our secretary...(wow, typing this is making me feel worse!)

as i'm meeting with friends for the holidays/exchanging presents, i'm giving them freshly (like within the hour)-"wrapped" gifts (thank goodness for gift bags!). i'm a big fan of open-past-midnight stores too.

good luck to both of us!

Bah HUMBUG! I'm not ready. But I'm out of energy to finish. And I feel like I should be stopping wherever I am, to work on *other* preparations. So then I feel guilty for working on finishing with the Christmas shopping. See my dilemma? I really shoulda gone back on an anti-depressant before this holiday came around. Because at the route of all of it....is the CRAZY talking! Lol.
BTW, suzzkwk. Sounds like a smooch or kiss, doesn't it?
