Quote Of The Day

The following is a quote by J. Paul Getty:

You have to do just three things to be successful: get up early, work hard, and strike oil."

I've been doing it all wrong. That explains a LOT.

I only balk at the 'getting up early' part. The rest is a breeze.

That sort of reminds me of the rich man who was asked how he acquired his fortune. "Well, one day I bought an apple for five cents, and I sold it for ten cents. The next day I bought two more apples with that ten cents, and sold them for ten cents each. The next day, I inherited twenty million dollars."

Oh yeah, and I should be successful, because morning is my favorite part of the day. I choose to be asleep during it, but it's still my favorite part.

Well I get up early. That's about it. Guess I need to work on the work and oil parts. :)

And remember, it's not enough for you to be successful. Others must fail.

I've done two out of those three before and it still was not that great. Now I'm retired and don't do any of them and things are going pretty good. :) ec

Well, duh. If only Anna Nicole Smith had known it has nothing to do with marrying a 150 yr old man!
