The 8th Wonder

A miraculous day has come---not miraculous like, say, new life or something like that. No, this is a miracle in a minor key: our kitchen floor is getting put in!! It's quite amazing to think of it actually happening, and I can't even picture it being done. No more tacky ugly 70's burnt yellow linoleum---marked and torn and scratched. No more tiny ugly brown tiles (what were they thinking??) in the entry way. It's going to be amazing. I'll post pictures when it's done (two weeks two weeks). Hopefully by Wednesday night. We'll see.

Yeah, great, now you're going to have to be careful about dropping things on the floor -- way to go!!! But seriously, how exciting!! Can't wait to get a gander at it.

Alright! I am so glad for you. We got a new kitchen/dining room floor a couple of years ago and it was the difference in night and day. ec
