If I Were A Rich Man

...this is the puppy I'd get! So cute:

(wee-chon)

But it's rather hard to justify spending $750+ for a (sweet, sweet) puppy. I know people do it, and I would if I could (I think), but......I guess not. Waaah. :)

And $750 is just the beginning....then there's the dog food bill; oh, maybe those kind don't eat much. But the veterinary charges, the brag books, the tiara........

Here's my two cents. We got an expensive well bred dog...I've met a ton of dogs in the same breed, but some were cheap and not well bred. You can DEFINITELY tell the difference with some breeds. Sometimes, when you are going to be picking up their poop and dealing with their issues for 13 or so years, it's better to spend the money to get good quality.

Plus, he's adorable. :)

actually $750 sounds kind of "reasonable" compared to prices i've heard for some designer dogs -- over $1000 for some labradoodles. (not that i'm advocating $750 for a dog or anything like that...)

and i've never heard of a wee-chon before. they're adorable! (i'm having trouble seeing your hubby walking it, tho!) :-)
