We Wish You A Merry Christmas

What is this insistence on playing Christmas music so early?? Now it starts before Halloween. The problem (among many) with this is that by the time Christmas comes, I'm so tired of carols that I can't enjoy them at Christmas!! Cease and desist. December 1st---that's the earliest I should ever hear anything about Christmas.

hey, thanks for chiming in! I'm glad people like to hear them a lot more than I do. It always amazes me how early they start, tho. By Christmas I'm usually ready to hear a different song besides the 10 that usually get played! At least there are more and more variations, so that's good.

Hope you guys are doing good!

I have to agree with Derring-Do here. When I start hearing "The Little Drummer Boy" my stress level goes up. A reminder that (as PG Wodehouse wrote),Christmas will soon be at our throats.

Christmas will soon be at our throats...haha...good one. It's come to that, I know! Good thing the true meaning of it all has nothing to do with this time of year and isn't a once-a-year consideration anyway (or shouldn't be!)...

I'm with you on this one. My favorite radio station plays Christmas music 24/7 beginning the day after Thanksgiving. I am usually ready to puke about Dec. 10th, so I wish they would wait until later to start playing it. And they play the same ones over, and over and over. Bleah.

And I LOVE Christmas music. But enough is enough.

yeah, I know what you mean. I really love it too, but it's a bummer to be kinda sick of it by the time Christmas actually rolls around!

There are two songs that expecially drive me up the wall:
"Jingle Bell Rock" and "We Need a Little Christmas"
