The Quick Scoop

Nothin' like a cliffhanger....:)

So the quick scoop is that things have fallen into place for us to move north a tiny bit, just past Sacramento. Obviously anything could happen to change that---for instance, our house not selling!! It's not exactly the market for that. Now, two years ago we could've put it on the market and watched 'em fight over it. Not so much now.

This wasn't decided on a whim of course, wasn't an impulse. Lots of thought and care went into deciding if this was the right thing to do. We know lots of folk up that way and the kids would enjoy being around some of their friends, and that seems like a nice way to finish growing up.

SO....we'll see what happens! While I'll miss the lovely place we live now and all our friends and family here, it's exciting to think of a new place.

I'll keep you posted.

It's kind of hard to see but this is a mother turkey and all her little chicks. We had to wait for them to cross the street.

Of Utmost Importance

It's been plaguing me lately: what did he mean when he sang "Once, Twice, Three times a lady"??? Lionel---help me out here!! Once, twice, three times? I don't get it. Was he hallucinating? Was she plus-size? It's really been keeping me up at night.

Cardio is not a chore anymore....woo-hoo!! Virtual reality has never been more useful. Go check it out at www.expresso.com. Convince your health club that they need to add one of these. If they'd just bring the price down a tad, I'd get one for my very own and bring it with me everywhere I go.
